Famous Bridges like the Ponte Vecchio are a favorite of mine to paint. This is of course Florence Italy and the very old midlevel arch type enclosed bridge. She spans across the Arno river. All sorts of activities go on on the bridge. There are actually people still living on/in the bridge. Imagine that. It was the first bridge build in Florence and even the fleeing German Army in WWII did not destroy the bridge. It was the only one they left alone!
This is a watercolor and ink with some color pencil accents but it is mostly watercolors.
