Description
This is my Impressionistic oil painting painted with brush and knife in a
traditional manner.
~~~~
My work is often compared to that of to Van Gogh in style and feel.
~~~~~
I admire and learn from artist like Van Gogh as well as Russian Impressionist
Nicolai Fechin. Paint is applied thick and generous.
~~~~~
This painting has colors, that I mix myself. I love to mix my own colors it allow sme to create paintings with unique palettes. Some of my colors I name: Van Gogh Yellow, Provence Blue, Gauguin Purple & Ginette Lime.
~~~~~
This is a true representation of an original oil painting.
~~~~~
I want to emphasize that this image is not anything that was digitally made to look like an oil painting. The digital world now allows anyone to take photos and use an oil painting filter and voila it has the faint appearance of oil painting. It's digital trickery and some people are not forthright in disclosing that, but rather deceive people by listing such digital work as "Oil Paintings" or "Watercolor paintings"!
Do your research and use the loupe feature to get a close look. You can usually detect the difference.
~~~~~
THIS IS ACTUALLY AN OIL PAINTING that I painted with real paint that came out of a tube, real brushes and real painters knifes on Linen canvas.
~~~~~
You can also see me paint in my vimeo videos. Yes there is an actually human artist painting this the old fashioned way :-)
