I made my escape (even if it was only in my minds eye) to this magical place called Vernazza. It was like a dream, you know these dreams that feel so real. Painting this piece was such a joy and made me feel really wonderful. It took off stress and my mind was totally there. Hard to explain but that is why I paint to escape this harsh reality we live in.
